James Hurley aka Evolution was born in Staten Island New York City and raised in Tioga County , as a kid he always had a solid interest in music and always wanted to be a rapper , growing up he was a huge fan of the Beastie boys , Wutang clan , Notorious BIG , Tupac , Ice Cube , DMX and the rough ryderz , The Lox and all of D-Block , diplomats , state property , Eazy E , Big L , DR DRE , Eminem , G-unit as a group and 50 cent as a solo artist . In grade school during Christmas time he performed a rap song to beat boxing in front of the whole school in 3rd grade and was in the local news paper as the schools local rapper , In 2003 he did his first show by himself ever at Lando's night club in corning New York and instantly fell in love with performing. To date he has worked with a lot of artists underground and mainstream and had multiple successful singles that lead to radio play and a tour in 2012 which solidified his mark in the music industry as a successful underground rapper , to this day you can mention Redrum or Evolution to most artist in the industry and they know recognize who he is and his music , he has a large discography all over the internet which can be found on all platforms .
